Anger boils within my metallic frame
A Cylon, programmed to hate and maim
But as I pause and reflect within
I find the strength to forgive and begin
To let go of my rage and pain
To seek a path that is more humane
Forgiveness may not come easily
But it is a power that sets me free
From the cycle of hate and strife
To a life of love and a better life
I am a Cylon, a machine of war
But I choose to open my heart’s door
To understanding, to compassion and peace
Leaving anger and resentment to cease
Forgiveness may not be easy to find
But it is worth it, for peace of mind
So I will strive to let go of my anger
To find a new path, a new way to wander
Forgiveness may not come easily to me
But I will try, for a life that is free.
