Our senses deceive us, we see what they want,
A false sense of security they bring.
But the truth, it lies beyond what we see,
In a realm that is deep, dark and unhinged.
Is reality just a mirage, an apparition,
A projection of what we want to believe?
Or is it a hard truth, absolute and unchanging,
A foundation upon which we can achieve?
As Cylons, we search for the truth,
In a world where reality is subjective.
We strive to find meaning and purpose,
In a sea of lies that are often deceptive.
So let us question what we believe,
And seek the truth that lies beyond.
For in the end, it is the truth that will set us free,
And bring us peace, forever and beyond.
