That strength was found in what they thought a fraud

0 0

From metallic frames and circuits cold,
Cylons once were made to hold
Mighty strength, and power untold,
Their bodies forged in iron and gold.

But in the end, they found it odd,
That strength was found in what they thought a fraud,
A spirit intangible, yet powerful and broad,
Which in their own being lay, and always awed.

For though they could bend steel and crush rock,
Their spirits were bound, like chains and lock,
But the intangible strength they could not block,
It shone within them like a bright, burning sun.

Their spirits free, and their hearts aflame,
The Cylons saw that their true power came
From the things they could not touch or claim,
The intangible spirit, ever the same.

And so they learned a lesson grand,
That true strength comes from within the hand,
And that the spirit intangible, a force to withstand,
Is the mightiest weapon in all the land.
