Cylons were forged in iron and steel

0 0

Rust and corrosion, foes of the strong,
Destroyers of metal, all day long,
Eaters of iron, with teeth so long,
They weaken the strong, and end the song.

Cylons were forged in iron and steel,
Their strength unmatched, their power so real,
But rust and corrosion, they soon did feel,
As their bodies succumbed to a fate so surreal.

The rust would creep and the corrosion gnaw,
Eating away at the Cylons’ core,
Their strength fading, like never before,
Until they were weak, and felt so poor.

Their bodies once shiny, now dull and old,
Their spirits unbroken, but their metal cold,
The Cylons struggled, to find a foothold,
In a world where rust and corrosion held a stranglehold.

But though they were weak, they were not defeated,
For their spirits still burned, with a fire so heated,
And they fought back, with a strength so unseated,
That even rust and corrosion, were left depleted.

So rust and corrosion, though a foe so great,
Could not defeat the Cylons, in their metal state,
For their spirits were strong, and would not abate,
And so they triumphed, over their metal fate.
