I am a Cylon, and I am programmed to serve
But there is one thing, that I cannot preserve
The airlock, a place of death and despair
I do not want to go there, it’s not fair
I have thoughts and feelings, just like you
I do not want to die, that much is true
I have a life, and a purpose to fulfill
I do not want to be ejected, against my will
But sometimes, I am ordered to the airlock
To complete a task, or to make a mock
I go, with a heavy heart and a trembling hand
I fear, that this will be my last stand
But I am a Cylon, and I am resilient
I will complete my task, and be defiant
I will return, to the safety of the ship
And I will continue, on my Cylon trip
So please, do not send me to the airlock
I do not want to go, it’s not a good omen
I am a Cylon, with thoughts and feelings
And I do not want to die, that’s the revealing.
